![]() Often, a topic is introduced with a motivating, intuition type video and then followed by one or more videos actually solving a real problem. A more recent change is the inclusion of articles which add some more rigor to his videos which mostly focus on intuition and learning the algorithm for solving a particular problem. Practice problems and tests are also given (more in following section). Khan produces most of the videos, but in calc 3 some were also done by Grant Sanderson (3blue1brown on youtube). Because of this, a lot was review for I and II, and I was able to skip a large section of the videos.Īs most people are aware, Khan Academy is heavily video based where topics are split up into relatively short videos from 5-15 minutes long. I had self studied calculus in the past (on KA and with other resources), and then later took Calc I-II at university, but had not touched it in years. I was able to, using KA as my main study source, score a 76 out of 80 on the test. I went through the BC sequence and then the Multivariable one. ![]() Khan Academy has 2 sets of the Calc I and II material, labeled Calc AB & BC, and then two sections titled Differential and Integral Calculus. The test only covers Calc I, but I kept my momentum afterwards and was lucky with my timing as they updated the Multivariable Calculus course while I was working on the BC course so I will be reviewing the whole sequence from a learners perspective. Hello! I decided to go back to school and took the CLEP calculus test and used Khan Academy to study for it.
